On Sunday, July 2nd, we had the fun of going to the Ballpark in Arlington with my Dad to watch the big game between the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers. This is an event that we try to do each summer. We all love it!!! It is always very hot, but so worth it. As you can tell from the pictures, the East Texas McCown's love those Astro's. They are our favorites. We go to the games in Houston as much as we can. We love to meet them and get their autographs. This year we got to meet and talk with Andy Pettitte. He is a pitcher for the Astro's. He is also a Christian, he is one of our favorites. Our other favorites are: Craig Biggio, Brad Ausmus, Roger Clemens, and Lance Berkman. We actually love all of them. At home, we watch them everynight. We are so hooked on Major League Baseball! Of course, watching them last year make it all the way to the World Series. What a ride. Love the picture of you and Sheldon with Pettitte. Rocky is still mad at me for not letting him get his autograph outside of Gerland's Grocery Store in Deer Park. I kept trying to tell him he was trying to shop with his wife...no autographs.
