Two boys who won't grow up!

Here are some great pictures of the two biggest kids in our family. The first picture shows what was PaPa's favorite Christmas gift. He will not leave home without it. He takes it to work, church, out to eat and he even sleeps with it !!!

Then you have Uncle David. He is not yet allowed at the adult table to eat. He still has to sit at the kiddy table. Maybe one day soon these two boys will grow up. And, David I think it is about time to break your ties with that sippy cup!!!!!

Here is total proof that those West Texas boys know how to wash dishes. Jan, if Dan tells you he doesn't know how, he may be telling you a story. Ron & Lee did a great job cleaning Mom's kitchen, well see how much dish washing they do in 2007.

During the Christmas break, we made the trek out to West Texas. We had a super time. It was wonderful to see family again. Sheldon loves to spend time with his West Texas family and many, many cousins. Enjoy the photos.

Christmas in Burleson

During our Christmas break we did lots of traveling. It was all worth it because we got to see so many family members. We started off our Christmas vacation in Burleson to spend time with Tracy's family. We had a blast. All the grown-up kids gave mom & dad a special gift this year. We did some work around the house. We painted the living room and added crown molding in the living room, entry way and down the hall. Gary and Dad focused on the crown molding, Ron, Tracy & Edi focused on the painting. We were all a great team. It was interesting to listen to Dad and Gary decide which angles would work the best... two stubborn men working together. However, the results were great. All the cousins had a blast playing together and just running wild. We had a wonderful few days and can't wait until we all get together again soon. Enjoy the pictures.

Dan & Jan's new house

While out in West Texas for Thanksgiving we got to go see Uncle Dan & Aunt Jan's new house. It is so beautiful. We are so happy for them. Mandi & Lee live directly across the street, (too bad there is not a house for us!). Uncle Dan and Sheldon have so many things in common. Sheldon was so excited when Uncle Dan brought out his telescope and set it up so he could show Sheldon all those stars in West Texas. The next morning, Sheldon and Dan got up at 6:00 am to see the rings around Saturn. Sheldon loved it. Thanks Uncle Dan !!!!
